An exquisite French round guéridon or side table in the Louis XV style, dating from the late 19th century. The top is beautifully veneered in a radial marquetry pattern, likely composed of walnut with a beechwood structure, forming an elegant sunburst motif that draws the eye to the center. The circular top is framed by a finely chased gilt bronze rim, adding a refined contrast between wood and metal.

Below the top, a delicately openworked apron in pierced gilt bronze showcases scrolling acanthus leaves, tied with twisted rope borders. These highly detailed mounts continue down the curved cabriole legs, each adorned with cascading foliate gilt bronze ornamentation and ending in stylized hoof sabots.

The legs are joined by an elegant triangular stretcher, shaped to echo the softness of the table’s form, adding both balance and structural integrity. This piece is a fine example of the craftsmanship and decorative taste of the Belle Époque period, blending Rococo revival elegance with 19th-century refinement.

Perfect as an occasional table, bedside stand, or as a decorative accent in a sophisticated interior, this table combines luxury, artistry, and timeless charm.
