This exquisite centerpiece is a vibrant example of the renowned Longwy enamel ceramics, handcrafted in France and richly decorated with intricate polychrome floral and geometric motifs. Centered by a bouquet of blooming peonies, the plate is encircled by radiating layers of stylized patterns in vivid cobalt blue, coral, turquoise, and ivory.

Created using the signature cloisonné-style enameling technique, this piece reflects the exceptional craftsmanship of the Longwy faience tradition, which dates back to the 18th century. The back is fully marked with the Longwy seal: “Émaux de Longwy, Décoré à la main”, along with “Made in France” and the decorator’s initials.
Both decorative and collectible, this shallow plate is perfect as a centerpiece, wall display, or to elevate any antique ceramic collection. Excellent overall condition with only minor age-appropriate crazing on the back, consistent with vintage French faience.
A rare and colorful piece that brings timeless elegance and charm to any interior.
