A rare and refined piece of Belgian Art Deco design, this elegant bowl is attributed to the renowned crystal manufacturer Val Saint Lambert, based in Seraing, Belgium. Crafted circa 1920s–1930s, it showcases the exceptional quality and timeless aesthetic for which the house is celebrated.

The bowl is made of thick, molded crystal, richly faceted in a geometric pattern that catches and reflects light beautifully. Its silhouette is striking — low and wide, with two bold, angular handles that exemplify the symmetry and elegance of the Art Deco era. It rests on a clear circular foot, giving it an elevated and sculptural presence.
Adding to its refinement, the bowl is fitted with a removable sterling silver mount, adorned with a delicate beaded edge. The mount bears the French Minerva hallmark, attesting to the use of solid silver and a likely collaboration with a Parisian or Belgian silversmith.
The piece is signed “Val Saint-Lambert, Belgique”, confirming its origin and authenticity. Its substantial weight and exceptional clarity further support its attribution to this iconic crystal manufactory.
An outstanding decorative and functional piece — ideal as a centerpiece or collector’s treasure.
