This superb Régence style wall mirror is exquisitely handcrafted from gilded and stuccoed wood, and is exuberantly decorated with acanthus leaves, C-scrolls and bunches of plump grapes on either side. The pierced crest is decorated with an ornate stylised vase filled with cascading foliage, which draws the eye down towards the rectangular mirror plate. Dating from the 19th century and still retaining its original gleaming golden finish, this impressive mirror is large enough make a real statement in any room.
