Description :

This mid-20th century Denby coffee service, made in England, reflects the elegance and durability of the brand’s renowned stoneware. The set comprises a tall coffee pot with lid, twelve cups, twelve saucers, and a milk jug. Each piece features a vivid cobalt blue glaze with warm ochre undertones, contrasted by creamy white rims – a palette that captures the spirit of modern mid-century design.

The horizontal incised bands create a textured surface that enhances the depth of the glaze, while the robust handles and clean forms combine beauty with functionality. The saucers include recessed rings to hold the cups securely, and the milk pot completes the ensemble with graceful simplicity.

Dimensions:

• Coffee pot with lid: H 21 cm, Ø 11 cm, W 16 cm

• Milk pot: H 6,5 cm x Ø 9 cm

• Cups: H 6 cm, Ø 8 cm

• Saucers: Ø 15 cm, H 2.5 cm

Pieces originally carried a golden Denby Made in England label, though this is not present on every item today. A fine example of collectible British stoneware, this set brings both style and practicality to any table.
