A large pedestal baluster-shaped vase in hand-painted Limoges porcelain, and dating from the mid-20th century. Featuring an exquisite decoration of spring flowers in vibrant polychrome painted by Réné Caire, a mid-century Limoges craftsman, this tall and elegant vase has elegant gilt swan-neck handles on each shoulder and a flared, gilded neck. Created in the empire style, with generous gilding and traditional laurel motifs, it sits on a round socle on a square foot. The base is signed with Caire's mark.
