A delightful set of 23 dinner plates in traditional blue and white antique French ironstone, made by the famous French faience manufacturer Hautin, Boulenger & Company (HB & Cie) of Choisy le Roi, in the south-eastern suburbs of Paris. Dating from around 1900, this beautiful set is decorated in an exquisite monochrome blue transferware design of rocailles and floral motifs on a creamy white background, with exuberant garlands embellishing the borders and corners of the various pieces.
