Description :

An exquisite set of six handblown crystal Champagne glasses or 'flûtes', dating to the mid-19th century, circa 1850–1880, and likely attributed to the renowned Baccarat glassworks. During this period, Baccarat did not yet sign its glassware—a practice that became standard only in the early 20th century—making attribution based on quality and form essential.

Each glass in this set is individually mouth-blown, with a beautifully flared bowl featuring vertical fluting, a faceted knop stem, and a wide circular foot. The clarity and balance of the crystal, along with the finesse of the hand-tooling and the elegant proportions, are fully consistent with Baccarat’s production of the era.

Subtle variations in height, shape, and thickness are visible from one glass to another, confirming their handmade nature and adding undeniable charm. Tiny bubbles and tooling marks are present, as expected in early crystal of this kind, and contribute to their authentic antique character.

Perfect for serving wine, champagne, or aperitifs, these glasses bring an air of refined history to the table. Whether used or displayed, they offer a poetic window into the golden age of French glassmaking.

A rare and refined ensemble, ideal for collectors and connoisseurs of 19th-century European
