Description :
A magnificent large and richly carved 18th century walnut commode with a shaped top. This chest of four drawers, is standing on elegantly carved feet. Distributed over three rows, each moulded drawer is ornately decorated with gilt bronze handles and escutcheons.
While there has been some ancient restoration to two of the drawer fronts and to the wooden tray, the commode has retained its original, pleasing patina.
