Description :
A fine, Parisian Louis XV style, marquetry-inlaid petite commode or bedside table, featuring four curved sides and gently tapering legs. Fitted with fine gilt bronze escutcheons and mounts, and retaining the original dark red marble top, it has two small doors, which open outwards to reveal inside a useful storage area with wide shelf and working lock. An intricately inlaid floral design over a cross-banded pattern adorns both the façade and flanks.
